The curriculum for our 2 year olds is similar to our infant and toddler curriculum. The 2K program fosters the development of our two year olds by offering various opportunities for physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth in a structured environment. Components of our two year old curriculum include:
- Active interactions with caregivers, objects, and models to enhance growth and development.
- Assessment tools and weekly reviews, used to evaluate and plan for learning and development.
- Free and creative play time that teaches cooperation, self discovery, self help and social and language development.
- Two hours of outdoor active play that encourages large motor development and science and exploration skills.
- Small and large group activities that evaluate individual and group interactions.
